The 2006-2007 Ranger of the Year information is now available.

The purpose of Ranger of the Year is to challenge boys to set goals for achievement that have a pre-determined set of rewards. The design of Ranger of the Year is to develop and train as many boys as possible to become Rangers of the Year. Each church, section, district, and region should endeavour to produce as many Rangers of the Year as possible. We want all boys to achieve, to grow, and to become successful men of God.

Allen's bio...

Allen started Royal Rangers in 1978 as a Buckaroo at Outpost 64 in Orchard Park, New York. He returned to Royal Rangers in 1983 as a Trailblazer where he continued through the Trail Ranger program.

In 1999 Allen returned to Outpost 64 as a Lt. Commander with the Trailblazer age group, and took over as the group’s Commander in 2000 where he served for the next 3 years. He was appointed as Senior Commander of Outpost 64 in 2003 where he served until 2006. In 2006 Allen was appointed as Chairman of the Outpost Council. Allen has also served on the Western Section staff as the Assistant Training Coordinator since 2001. In 2006 he was appointed to the New York District staff as the Expedition Rangers Programs Coordinator.

He is a graduate of JLTC (1985), NTC (2000), ICS (2004), ANTC (2004), National Academy (2005), and serves on staff at National Leadership Training Camps when requested.

Allen is the Manager of Internal Controls for his employer. He is very active in his church serving as a worship team member, pre-marital group counseling leader, and Outpost Councilman. He and his wife Julie reside in Orchard Park, NY with their three children.
