Dwight started in Royal Rangers in 1975 and attended his first District Powwow in the Potomac District as a member of Outpost 14 from Catlett, Virginia. As a member of Outpost 64 in Elkton, Maryland, Dwight was the 7th Ranger from the Potomac District to earn the Gold Medal of Achievement. 

He served as Senior Commander of Outpost 284 in Newark, DE for 17 years and has also served as Area Commander, Deputy Sectional Commander, Delmarva Sectional Commander and Penn-Del District Charter Secretary. 

In 1999 he was appointed Northeast Regional Training Coordinator and in 2003 he was appointed Regional Coordinator. He also currently serves on the National Royal Rangers Executive Committee. 

Dwight is a graduate of the Royal Rangers Advanced Academy and has served as director and staff member on many National Training events including National Training Camp (NTC), National Rangers Ministry Camp (NRMC) and World Class Outpost (WCO). He has also traveled to Chile and Bolivia on Pathfinder Missions Teams. 

Dwight graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. He is a vice president with KCI Technologies engineering firm, where he is an Operations Manager for the Site-Facilities & Environmental engineering disciplines. He is a registered professional engineer in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. 

He is very active in his church, Praise Assembly in Newark, DE, where he served as Board Member, worship team member, Bible Quiz Coach on the Outpost Committee. He is married to Heather and they have four children – Nathan, Holly, Keri & Nicholas.
