Rev. Michael Petrucci is lead pastor at Praise Assembly in Newark, Delaware and serves as Chaplain for Northeast Region Royal Rangers and as a member of the Assemblies of God General Superintendent’s Cabinet.

He pastored in Massachusetts for seven years as a church planter and then pastored in New Jersey for 13 years. Concurrent with pastoring in New Jersey, he served as District Stewardship Director for seven years and District Men’s Director for nine years. During his tenure, annual conventions and retreats were established with attendance reaching 900 at the district’s annual convention. Under his leadership, foreign missions trips for church planting and construction were sponsored by the Men’s Department, and a district Church Construction Corps was established to provide New Jersey Home Missions churches with worship facilities and other assistance.

Pastor Petrucci has spoken at numerous men’s, Royal Rangers, and Light for the Lost events, often speaking on leadership and about men and gender issues.

He has traveled extensively overseas to Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Romania, Moldova, Russia, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Hong Kong, and the Philippines to speak at pastor’s conferences and national men’s conferences.

Pastor Petrucci holds a bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University and a master’s degree in school psychology from Rowan University.

He and his wife Cathy have been married 33 years. They have three grown and married children, Anastasia, Michael, and Nicholas, as well as an 19-month old granddaughter and a newborn grandson.
